1

Quit Pomeroy

Click the menu-bar icon and choose Quit.
2

Move the app to the Trash

Drag Pomeroy.app out of your Applications folder.
3

Delete its settings

This throws away your toggles, your licence activation on this Mac, the Messages bookmark, and the random identifier the four usage counts share. The next identifier, if you ever reinstall, is unrelated to the last.A count that has already been sent stays sent, and nothing here un-sends it.
4

Delete its support folder

The first holds the counting library’s own two identifiers, which never leave your Mac, and its queue of counts waiting to be sent. The second holds the socket your assistants connect through.
5

Take back the macOS grants

Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and remove Pomeroy from Calendars, Reminders, Contacts, Automation and Location.macOS owns these, so deleting the app does not clear them. Pomeroy is not in the Accessibility or Screen Recording lists, because it never asked.

Removing the assistant configuration

Each assistant keeps its own record of the server. Removing Pomeroy leaves a configuration that points at nothing, which is harmless but untidy.

Before you go

If something was wrong, hello@pomeroy.app reads every message. If you bought Pomeroy in the last 14 days, the refund needs no explanation. How to ask.
